Rumy

Rumy is a compassionate mental health practitioner with over 20 years of experience working with children and young people. She specializes in supporting young people in education affected by anxiety and depression by offering practical, evidence-based interventions tailored to their unique needs. Rumy works closely with families and educators to create safe, supportive environments where neurodiverse young people can thrive.

Rumy draws on a range of therapeutic approaches, Including CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy providing personalized, outcome-focused care. Her qualifications include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from Cardiff University, Diploma in Mental Health Nursing from Thames Valley University and an MSc in Mental Health Interventions completed at Middlesex University. 

Throughout her career, Rumy has worked in a variety mental health settings including adult mental health services, children and adolescent mental health services and schools, and have supported young people facing complex emotional and psychological challenges. Her warm, collaborative approach ensures that every young person feels heard and valued whilst working toward meaningful and lasting change. 

Passionate about the well-being of neurodiverse young people, Rumy believes in the power of working together with families, educators and communities to provide holistic support. She is dedicated to making mental health care accessible and empowering young people to build resilience and confidence.
