Annabelle is a compassionate and creative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with over 8 years of experience supporting children, young people, and their families. She believes that every young person deserves a safe, consistent space to explore their feelings, worries, and relationships, and is dedicated to providing just that. As an Integrative Arts Therapist, Annabelle takes a flexible and empathetic approach, combining insights from child development, neurobiological research, psychodynamic thinking, and the creative arts. This allows her to adapt her practice to meet the unique needs of each young person she works with.
Annabelle encourages the use of art, play, and storytelling in her sessions, recognizing that young people often find it easier to express themselves through creative outlets. This approach helps them make sense of their thoughts and feelings, regulate their emotions, and build confidence in managing life’s challenges.
With experience working with developmental trauma, bereavement, anxiety, low mood, parental separation and neurodiversity, Annabelle understands the complexities young people face. She currently works as a Mental Health Practitioner Supervisor for the NHS and as a psychotherapist in a secondary school, offering both professional expertise and a genuine commitment to her clients’ well-being.
